2. Where does INNewsCenter find the promos and newscasts for all these stations from all these different markets outside of Indiana?

It varies. From time to time, INNewsCenter posts video from beyond Indiana's 92 counties. INNewsCenter mostly posts from Indianapolis and Fort Wayne. Other markets that serve Indiana including South Bend, Lafayette, Terre Haute, Evansville, Chicago, Louisville, Cincinnati, and Dayton and other "INNewsCenter significantly viewed markets" from time to time and are posted just like the Indy and FWA clips.

Other clips that do not meet the above threshold are classified as "Beyond Indiana" and are posted as "Beyond Indiana:: (name of clip)."

As far as finding the lips from the different markets outside Indiana varies--INNewsCenter has to keep that a secret.

3. Why aren't clips from WNDU, WSBT,  WCPO, and WCMH on INNewsCenter?

A: Please note that clips from select stations are not shown due to conflicts with our sister sites in FL, NC, and on YouTube.

In March 2006, our sister site in Florida receivd a DMCA notice from Gray Television (which at the time just acquired WNDU) and EW Scripps (which flaagship station is WCPO in Cincinnati). However, Gray owns WJHG in Panama City and WCTV in Tallahassee and Scripps owns WFTS Tampa and WPTV in West Palm Beach.

More than a year later, INNewsCenter was alerted to an email from an INNewsCenter visitor that WSBT sent that user a DMCA.

In July 2009, INNewsCenter decided not to post any clips from Columbus (OH)'s WCMH and all other Media General  stations, such as Tampa's WFLA, due to an agrrement with WCMH.

So, that is why INNewsCenter isn't posting clips from WCPO, WNDU, WSBT, and WCMH.

4. Why did INNewsCenter declare Fort Wayne's WPTA/WISE broadcasting news in High Definition even though the news is broadcasting in digital widescreen?

As you know INNewsCenter started posting clips in 16:9 widescreen (SD) in December  2007 under beta testing and in 16:9 High Definition beginning in November 2008, just months after newscasts on  Indy's WISH-TV (2nd in IN) and WRTV (4th in IN) and South Bend's WSBT (3rd in IN) went HD. When INNewsCenter gets alerted of an Indiana station to go HD, and gets confirmed by the staff of INNewsCenter HD. A lot of INNewsCenter HD users belive WRTV became the 3rd in Indiana, but INNewsCenter decalred WSBT before WRTV did.

Then between late 2008 and early 2009, I was watching newscasts on Fort Wayne's WPTA and WISE and since their weather eqipment is HD (in WPTA's case their Live Doppler Radar is called PINPOINT VIPIR HD). Once INNewsCenter got alerted to the widescrren format for WPTA and WISE--INNewsCenter decalred WPTA and WISE as the Fifth in Indiana and the first in Fort Wayne to go HD, not Indy's WXIN (other sources say .Fifth in Indiana, last in Indy) INNewsCenter has declared WXIN as the Sixth station in Indiana to go HD.
